One of the nation’s major telco providers has warned a number of its services have been affected by outages. Primary telecommunications provider Optus has flagged a number of its services that have suffered outages. Several Optus mobile and internet services have been affected by the outage, which occurred at around 10.30am on Friday morning.
The provider has apologized to customers and is currently working on identifying the cause of the issue. It is not yet known how far the outage reaches nor the number of devices affected. Optus says customers in a state of emergency should call Triple-Zero (000).
