The host of ABC’s Media Watch has tweeted a photo from a hospital bed after he was injured in a car accident. Paul Barry wore a face mask and hospital gown in the picture and held up a bandaged hand. “Broken hand and pelvis after a thoughtless driver backed into the road without looking and cleaned me up on my bike as I rode to work,” Mr. Barry wrote.
Mr. Barry said there would be no episode of Media Watch this week because of the incident. He said he wasn’t sure when he would recover. NCA NewsWire has contacted ABC and Mr. Barry for comment.
